South Korean battery manufacturer SK Innovation will carry out the largest greenfield investment in Hungary to date in Fejér County. The company has announced to build a new battery plant with a nearly HUF 700 billion investment.
Two other automotive suppliers, BorgWarner and Jabil, have announced a combined investment of HUF 12 billion in Hungary, creating more than 200 jobs as a result.

According to the December statistics of Kocsi.hu, used electric cars on average can be sold a month sooner than petrol and diesel-powered models.
