Rába has had a successful business year

In the fourth quarter, the company achieved sales revenue of 16.9 billion forint, down 8.8 percent year-on-year. Its profit after tax decreased by 199.9 percent, resulting in a loss of 485.8 million forint. Rába's earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) fell by 15.8 per cent year-on-year to 3.9 billion forint, and in the fourth quarter it was 46.9 million forint, 97.1 per cent lower than in the fourth quarter of 2022.

The business portfolio of Rába Automotive Holding Plc. consists of four independent, interrelated business units: the chassis, components, vehicle and engine business units.

In 2023, Rába Futómű Kft. achieved a turnover of 48.2 billion forint, which is 11.7 percent more than in 2022. In the fourth quarter, its turnover was 11 billion forint, 12.7 percent less than in the fourth quarter of 2022. Last year, Rába Járműalkatrész Kft.'s turnover decreased by 8 percent to 17.2 billion forint. In the fourth quarter, it had a turnover of 4.3 billion forint, 16 per cent more than in the same period last year. Rába Jármű Kft. achieved a turnover of 2.6 billion forint in 2023, which is 39.9 percent more than in 2022. In the fourth quarter, however, it achieved a revenue of 576 million forint, down 29.7 percent.
