Continental’s Budapest manufacturing unit has celebrated the 50 millionth electronic brake control unit rolling off the production line. The facility has been engaged in the manufacturing of electronic brake systems since 2001.

The Regional Court of Appeal of Győr has repealed the order issued earlier by the Court of Company Registration of Székesfehérvár, which called for a general assembly at ISD Dunaferr Zrt. on May 6th.

This means that the prolonged crisis at Hungary’s largest metallurgy conglomerate, started over a year ago, will continue to drag on.

Audi have reported on a successful quarter. The car maker has increased its sales and looks into the future with cautious optimism.

Serial production for the new Mercedes-Benz EQS, the full-electric variant of the S-Class, has been launched at the car maker’s Sindelfingen plant in Germany.

Waberer’s quarterly revenues dropped 18 percent year on year compared to Q1 2020, while the company’s EBITDA grew significantly, by 7.9 percent.

The M2 motorway’s Dunakeszi section will be converted into a smart road. It will feature advanced dynamic traffic control systems that will reduce congestion.

The Modern Sample Factory programme has been launched in Hungary, which will allow SMEs to gain first-hand access to successful practical solutions. The programme will support local businesses in making a better use of modern technologies in their activities.
