Knorr-Bremse invests HUF 5.3bln in Budapest unit
The supplier’s Rail Systems division will create 300 jobs with a new HUF 5.3 billion (€17 million) investment in Budapest, boosting the site’s headcount to over 1,500 people.
Inaugurated back in 2010, the Budapest site’s existing production area will be increased by 11,000 sqm to 46,000 sqm, preparing the plant for the development and production of complete brake systems and air supply product families.
The company’s headcount will thus exceed 1,500, additionally creating hundreds of new jobs through its solid domestic supplier network.
