AGC doubles headcount at Tatabánya plant

While in 2006, Japanese-owned automotive glass manufacturer AGC Glass Hungary had 450 employees, today its headcount has reached 920, AGC Hungary HR director Mihály Gíbár said at a ceremony held to celebrate the company’s 10th anniversary in Hungary.

AGC Glass Hungary Kft. was established in 2004. The following year saw the construction of a factory at Tatabánya-Környe Business Park, while mass production and the first deliveries to automotive OEMs began 10 years ago, in 2006.
