AGC doubles headcount at Tatabánya plant
While in 2006, Japanese-owned automotive glass manufacturer AGC Glass Hungary had 450 employees, today its headcount has reached 920, AGC Hungary HR director Mihály Gíbár said at a ceremony held to celebrate the company’s 10th anniversary in Hungary.
Including subcontractors, the company employs 1,300–1,400 people.
In November 2016, AGC’s logistics partner will hand over a new logistics centre near the existing plant in Tatabánya, creating additional jobs in the region, Gíbár added.
