A consortium between Siemens Zrt., Richter Gedeon Nyrt., Nokia Solutions and Networks Kft. and MVM Zrt. has opened significant opportunities for the university in several fields, contributing to the creation of new laboratories promoting cooperation between industry and higher education, while a new 5G test network is also expected to launch at the university campus.

The success of the project is indicated by the presentation of eight inventions, including three patent announcements and four currently being under preparation.

We interviewed Brigitta Bodzay, deputy director of BME FIEK, about the directions R&D&I activities are set to take from 2021 onwards.
