Le Bélier invests HUF 8 billion in Ajka
Le Bélier, French manufacturer of safety equipment present in Hungary since 1994, has nearly 1,500 employees at its Ajka, Szolnok and Mohács locations. The company is now expanding its Hungarian operation with a HUF 8 billion (EUR 27 million) investment.
Le Bélier is a manufacturer of automotive safety equipment and brake systems.
The Hungarian state supports the first phase of company's investment with a HUF 507 million aid from EU funds.

Péter Szijjártó, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade, said at the press conference that the HUF 8 billion investment, creating 100 new jobs in Ajka, is driven by a significant order from a large German automotive OEM.
Szijjártó added that the government also has plans to support the second phase of the investment with negotiations are already under way.
Tibor Skobrák, economy director of Le Bélier CEE, reminded at the press conference that in January 2015, the company signed a strategic partnership agreement with the Hungarian government.
