New press shop built at the Kecskemét plant of Mercedes-Benz has launched production. The facility will supply the carmaker’s global production network with components manufactured in Kecskemét.
Up to now, services related to technical development, finances, IT, procurement and logistics were grouped under one of Audi Hungaria’s virtual divisions called Shared Competence Center.
Starting in the first quarter of 2023, these services will continue to be offered via a new subsidiary under the company’s ownership.
Continental identified a cyberattack on its IT system during the summer a month too late. Despite 40TB of data being stolen, the attack did not cause major disruptions.
