Audi Hungaria establishes subsidiary for shared competence services

Additionally to drivetrain and vehicle development, Audi Hungaria is placing more and more emphasis on shared competence services offered across the entire Volkswagen Group.
Up to now, services related to technical development, finances, IT, procurement and logistics were grouped under one of the company’s virtual divisions called Shared Competence Center.
In the future, services not directly related to manufacturing activities at the Győr-based plant, such as procurement, IT and financial services, will be offered via a new subsidiary 100 percent under its ownership.
