Japan-based Seiren Ltd. have announced to build a 26,000sqm plant in Pécs for the production of automotive upholstery, a project that will create 170 jobs. The investment will cost a total of HUF 15 billion.

Ford have inaugurated their new regional parts centre in Biatorbágy. The facility will supply 15 countries in the CEE region.

New CEO appointed
at Magyar Suzuki Corporation. Masato Atsumi’s career has become synonymous with Suzuki, as he has worked at the Japanese manufacturer since 1987.

Bosch have announced to build a new regional service centre in Vecsés with HUF 6 billion investment. The project will create 225 jobs.

Last week, Mercedes unveiled their new luxury limousine, the EQS, which represents a major milestone in the manufacturer’s efforts towards carbon neutrality.

Green Bus programme continues in Esztergom. An electric bus will enter test operation for a month as part of the town’s public transport fleet. The findings so far include better operating costs and lower emissions when compared to diesel-driven vehicles.

Waberer’s have announced to upgrade their vehicle fleet with a HUF 12 billion project. The exceptional investment allows the transport company to purchase new Volvo and Renault trucks.

A new report published by the European Court of Auditors states that the EU is currently still far from its target of installing 1 million charging points by 2025, and it lacks a comprehensive strategy and timeline for execution.
