Expansion scheduled at Hankook plant in Rácalmás fuelled by growing demand on bus tyres
The premium tyre manufacturer has announced to expand its plant in Rácalmás with a manufacturing unit dedicated to the production of commercial vehicle tyres. Construction is set to begin in the first half of 2018, while production is scheduled to start two years later.
“There is a growing demand on our commercial vehicle and bus tyre product lines,” Han-Jun Kim, COO for Hankook Tire Europe, said in connection with the announcement.
