BMW contracts Dürr to supply paint shops at Hungarian and Chinese plants
Dürr, a German multinational plant engineering firm, will build the paint shop at BMW’s new car manufacturing plant in Debrecen, the company has announced in a press release.
Dürr has also been contracted to outfit two more paint shops at BMW plants in Northeast China.
In total, Dürr will install 165 painting robots and 90 sealing robots at the three locations. At the Debrecen plant, Dürr will install EcoDry X overspray mist separation systems.
