Győr prepares for production of electric motors for Audi e-tron models
Audi is preparing to launch the serial production of electric cars in late-2018, early-2019, which will coincide with the start of production of electric motors at the Hungarian plant, Audi Hungaria Motor Kft. CEO Peter Kössler told Hungarian news agency MTI this week.
Hubert Waltl, Audi AG board of directors member responsible for production and logistics, said at a press event this Thursday in Ingolstadt that Audi is currently shaping its new EV portfolio.
The Győr-based plant is set to supply the AG's electric lineup with e-tron power plants.
