Waberer’s to carry out IT systems development

Digitalization is transforming the field of logistics, and Waberer’s intention is to be among the first ones join this transition with its partners, Barna Erdélyi, Waberer’s International board of directors member, said during an online press event held earlier in the week together with Vodafone Hungary and instantCMR, where they presented a new smart phone application currently under a test run at the haulier firm.
Erdélyi added: currently there are about 2,000 lorry drivers using or about to start using the new application, which will centralize many of the paper-based tasks at the company in a single piece of software, including consignment data and other information.
