Volán bus transport company signs €47 million credit agreement

The European Investment Bank has signed an agreement with Hungarian bus transport company Volán Buszpark Kft. on a €47 million credit scheme on the procurement of safe, comfortable and eco-friendly buses for regional and urban use, the European Commission has announced in a press release.
According to the EC’s communication, the €47 million is the first part of a €140 million credit package that will allow Volán to modernize half its bus fleet using financing from commercial banks.
