Unsuccessful wage talks spark warning strike at Hankook plant in Dunaújváros
A two-hour warning strike was held at Hankook’s tyre plant in Dunaújváros on Wednesday: Production was halted between 5 and 7pm, the president of the Federation of Chemical Workers of Hungary (VDSZ) announced.
Tamás Székely reminded that the employer has been silent about a proposed wage increase since the middle of February, and has failed to present a substantive proposal to compare with the workers’ demands.
