Transmoduls develops with HUF 400 mln in Veszprém

Transmoduls Kft., a Veszprém-based manufacturer engaged in industrial automation, will carry out a nearly HUF 400 million R&D project by the end of October 2014. The company received a HUF 183 million grant for the project from New Széchenyi Plan funds.

Transmoduls, established in 1991, manufactures special automatic machinery and equipment capable of the production of automotive and electronic products.

The company has previously created a common area for the production of highly automated, integrated machinery, production lines and computer-controlled assembly, manufacturing, measuring and inspection systems using a combination of technologies (robot, laser, assembly and measuring).

Transmoduls Kft.'s projects are all unique developments, carried out by an experienced team of engineers and technicians using innovative ideas and previous experiences.

Thanks to the investment, a new access system and phone centre will be implemented at a new, 1,200-square-metre production hall, built within the scope of a previous, HUF 88 million project. Development is continuous on the engineering side as well, the company will purchase new software, a company management system, 3-D scanners and other equipment.

According to the company's announcement, Transmoduls increased its headcount by 15 in the period between 2012 and 2014. The company currently employs 75 people, including 45 highly-trained engineers and 30 technicians.

Last year, Transmoduls' net income amounted to HUF 1.93 billion, which the company is planning to increased to HUF 2.5 billion in 2014.
