Transdanubian machine builders merge
With a new investment, the Lakics family, owner of Lakics Machine Manufacturing Ltd., became a joint owner of Rutin Ltd., one of Hungary´s largest steel structures manufacturers.
The result of the merger, one of Hungary's leading machine manufacturing group, is expecting an annual revenue of HUF 10 billion and is providing livelihood for 700 families in the South Transdanubian region.
The companies will continue to manufacture their own products, advancing towards new markets with each other's support. With the investment, Rutin Kft. gained an opportunity to tackle its financial issues and start developing with a secure background.
The agreement has been formed on the basis of a strong alliance between the two families, indicated by the joint management. Rutin Kft.'s joint operation and development are predestined to success by the similar values and attitude of the two companies.
"We are planning continuous development in the future, which will affect the group's headcount and revenues. Our aim is to exploit the opportunities offered by the companies' existing technologies and experiences and the synergy resulting from the joint management of the group, and reach new markets in the machine industry. The collaboration does not only affect the two companies, but it will also have a positive effect on the whole region's development," said Péter Lakics, member of the family business' management since 2003.
