Tool manufacturer expands with EUR 4 bln investment in Sárospatak
Swiss-owned Fraisa Hungária Kft. has carried out a HUF 1.5 billion (EUR 4 million) investment project in Sárospatak, allowing the company to manufacture tools in various size and hardness with higher dimensional accuracy and a longer life-cycle.
Fraisa, the legal successor of Szerszám Köszörű Centrum Ipari és Kereskedelmi Kft., currently employs 150 people. It was reported that the company had received a HUF 690 million (EUR 2.2 million) aid from EU funds.
It was revealed at the inauguration ceremony that HUF 170 billion will be allocated to R&D projects this year in Hungary via 10 tendering projects.
