Thyssenkrupp opens automotive engineering office in Szeged

Thyssenkrupp Automotive Technology Hungary Kft. will open an engineering office in Szeged for the development of electromechanical steering systems, Dóra Tagai, the company’s HR director, announced earlier in the week.
The company’s electric and electronic systems development centres in Budapest and Veszprém have more than 1,200 engineers on their payroll, who will now be joined by the Szeged unit.
In the next three years, the company is planning to hire hundreds of engineers, which is a testament to thyssenkrupp’s long-term strategic investment plans in Hungary.
