TDK expands in Szombathely with major investment

TDK Hungary Components Kft. has announced plans for the largest investment of its three decades of manufacturing activities in Szombathely. The producer of electronic components is expanding with a new sensors division in Vas County.
Scheduled for construction between 2023 and 2026, the HUF 26 billion investment will be supported with a with a HUF 6.6 billion one-time, non-refundable government subsidy.
The company’s existing Szombathely-based headcount of 2,200 payroll employees will increase by 250 people.
