Takata remain profitable in Europe, Miskolc plant to see further expansion
Takata are still profitable in Europe and will not file for bankruptcy, while production at the Miskolc plant continues uninterrupted, in fact, it is looking to further expand its capacities, Takata Safety Systems Hungary Kft. stated this week in a press release.
Despite reportings on Takata filing for bankruptcy protection in Japan and the U.S, the Hungarian subsidiary emphasised that the company’s divisions in Japan, Asia, the U.S., Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) are legally independent business units.
