Suzuki celebrate 30th anniversary in Hungary

Magyar Suzuki Corporation, along with Hungary’s vehicle manufacturing industry, reached an important milestone in 2021. In 1991, after a 50-year hiatus, passenger car manufacturing was finally revived in Hungary.
Since it was established three decades ago, nearly 3.6 million Suzuki cars have been produced at Suzuki’s Esztergom manufacturing plant. The model with the highest production volume has been the customer-favourite Vitara.
In December 2019, Suzuki launched the serial production of hybrid cars at the plant. In January 2020, the company began the sale of hybrid vehicles in EU member states.
