SMP to launch serial production of bumpers at new Kecskemét plant in 2018
Indian-owned SMP’s 100,000sqm plant in Kecskemét will manufacture bumper and dashboard components.
According to a strategic partnership agreement between the Samvardhana Motherson Group and the Hungarian government, the project was supported with a HUF 7.72 billion subsidy.
The investment will create 500 jobs, while the new plant will launch serial production in 2018.
