SK Innovation to soon launch construction of production site in Iváncsa

In Komárom, SK Innovation have built a giant production site with a €1.3 million investment, with the second unit at the site is nearing completion, which will allow serial production volumes for electric batteries to nearly double.
This will be the largest greenfield investment in Hungary’s history, which will provide a direct livelihood to 2,500 people.
“Construction works will soon commence in Iváncsa, which will result in an even larger production site than the one in Komárom,” Péter Szijjártó, Hungary’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade, said earlier this week in Komárom following talks with the management of the South Korean company (pictured above).
