Siemens awards efficiency
Siemens Zrt. has extended the application period for the Werner von Siemens Efficiency Award. The company´s aim is to collect and present projects and initiatives that have effectively increased efficiency at local organizations.
The Werner von Siemens Efficieny Award is open for applicants until September 25 for every company, institution or civic organization that can demonstrate that with an investment or development project carried out before April 30, 2015 it was able to increase efficiency using a Siemens product, service or technology.
The applications will be evaluated by an independent jury of noted professionals from related fields. The list of the finalists will be disclosed in October. The final results of this year's Werner von Siemens Efficiency Award will be announced on November 19, 2015.
Siemens is aiming to present the most effective tried-and-tested practices and results and promote the dialogue about efficiency in our society.
Last year, the Werner von Siemens Efficiency Award was received by Opel Szentgotthárd Kft. in the industrial production category, BKK Közút Zrt. in transport and infrastructure, and Borsod-Abaúj Zemplén County Hospital and University Teaching Hospital in the category of healthcare.
