Siemens and Knorr-Bremse consortium makes successful bid to supply MÁV with bogie assemblies and brake systems
A public procurement bid to supply MÁV-Start with bogie and brake system packages for the assembly of IC+ passenger cars has been won by a consortium between Siemens Zrt. and Knorr-Bremse GmbH. An agreement between the parties was signed on Wednesday this week.
The companies said in a joint statement that the HUF 7.8 billion procurement was preceded by an open public procurement procedure.
The delivery of component packages will begin in summer 2019.
