Sanmina Tatabánya: HUF 7 billion invested in 7 years
Characterised by continued development throughout its entire history, Sanmina-SCI Magyarország Kft. is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year.
Currently, the company has 1,200 employees, but its looking to expand its headcount by 200 people next year. The service unit is looking to add 80 staffers, while the production plant has announced 120 open positions.
20 years ago, SCI’s U.S.-based parent decided to open its then-latest European unit in Tatabánya, Hungary. As a result, in 1997 the company built its first unit in Tatabánya on a floor area of 10,000 square metres.
