Samsung SDI brings historic R&D project to Hungary

Samsung SDI announced the largest research and development investment in Hungary realized with the financial support of the state. The South Korean company that manufactures battery cells in the country will implement a research and development project worth 22.5 billion forints. The project has the potential to further increase the capacity and safety of batteries in addition to lowering the manufacturing costs.
