Salgglas concludes development of new sidelite product using new technology
Salgótarján-based Salgglas Zrt. has completed a HUF 1bln technology development project to develop new automotive sidelite glass products, for which the company had received a HUF 380m non-refundable aid from EU funds.
The product is designed to be fitted into vehicles with a raised passenger compartment, the company told Hungarian news agency MTI in a press release.
The advantages of the new product include a reduction in drag coefficient, better noise cancellation and insulation and increasing production efficiency.
The investment has created five new R&D jobs at the company.
