Rosenberger creates 50 new jobs in Jászárokszállás

German-owned Rosenberger Hungary has expanded its production capacity and carried out technology development with an investment of HUF 2.7 billion (EUR 8.7 million) in Jászárokszállás, Hungary, creating 50 jobs as a result, Balázs Rákossy, Secretary of State responsible for EU funds announced at the project´s inauguration ceremony on Wednesday.

Balázs Rákossy said the project received a HUF 780 million (EUR 2.5 million) aid from European Union funds, which supports the government's efforts in striving to achieve full employment by 2018 by reducing unemployment to below 3 percent.

He reminded since its establishment in 2002, Jászárokszállás-based Rosenberger has increased its headcount from 50 to 1,400. The company is a manufacturer of electronics components for the telecommunications and electronics industries, and is a supplier of global companies such as Ericsson, Alcatel, Motorola, Siemens, Huawei and car makers such as Audi, BMW, VW and Daimler.

The nearly 6,200-square-metre assembly plant has increased the company's production area to a total of 20,000 square metres. The company has a registered annual income of HUF 9 billion (EUR 29 million). All products manufactured at the Hungarian subsidiary are marketed on foreign markets Europe and North and South America.
