Rába vehicle division’s revenues plummet in Q1 2021

Rába Járműipari Holding Nyrt.’s total revenues decreased by 4 percent to HUF 11.377 billion in the first quarter of 2021 compared to the same period in the previous year, while the company’s post-tax earnings increased by 142.6 percent to HUF 363.7 million, the Győr-based manufacturer announced last week on the website of the Budapest Stock Exchange (BÉT).
Rába’s earnings before interests, taxes, debt and amortisation (EBITDA) increased to HUF 1.013 billion in the first quarter, which represents a 125.3 percent increase from the year before.
The vehicle division’s revenues dropped by 51.6 percent to HUF 854 million, while operating losses decreased by 84.9 percent to HUF 60 million compared to the same period in the previous year.
