Quarterly report: Waberer’s with growing profits despite decreasing revenues

In the first quarter of 2021, Waberer's International Nyrt. registered a total revenue of €142.3 million, a 18.1 percent decrease from the same period in the previous year, while at the same time their earnings before interests, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) grew by 7.9 percent to €16.6 million, the transport company announced in a quarterly report published on the website of the Budapest Stock Exchange.
According to the report, Waberer’s have reported on positive earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT) for the third consecutive quarter, €4.5 million in Q1 2021, which is a €4.4 million increase compared to the same period the year before.
