CEO Bogisich Ferenc said that the cylinder head and engine block manufacturer's EU-aided project allowed QP to purchase ten cutting machines, which will allow the company to meet higher customer requirements.

A development in the company's equipment park will allow QP to hire 50 people, increasing the company's total headcount at its two locations in Győr to almost 270.

The HUF 1.2 billion investment comprises of two parts: a HUF 720 million project, aided by a HUF 218 million support, and a HUF 375 million project, supported by a HUF 150 million subsidy.

QP Zrt. closed a successful year in 2014: in 2014, the company booked a turnover of EUR 6.8 million, up 25 percent from HUF 5.5 million registered in 2013.

The CEO pointed out that the company's growth is a result of developments which allowed the company to increase its turnover while using less raw materials.

Regarding his plans for the 2015 business year, Bogisich added that the company has been cooperating with Audi in preparing the company to become a Tier 1 supplier of the Ingolstadt-based car maker through the production of components that could be fitted directly into cars or engines. This, however, will require further developments and plant expansions.

QP Zrt. has been manufacturing instruments and parts for automotive firms such as Audi, Knorr-Bremse, Nemak and Mercedes since 1993.
