Over 1 million engines manufactured at Audi Hungaria in H1 2016
Audi Hungaria has once again exceeded 1 million units in engine production by manufacturing 1,031,887 engines in the first half of 2016 (H1 2015: 1,067,525 units).
The company manufactured 795,216 (816,965) four- and five-cylinder petrol and diesel units, 219,252 (227,952) six-cylinder engines and 17,419 (22,608) eight- and ten-cylinder units.
The power units manufactured in Győr are fitted in Audi, Seat, Skoda, Volkswagen, Porsche, Bentley and Lamborghini models at 30 production locations around the globe.
A new body shop is currently under construction, which is a first step towards the serial production of the Audi Q3 at the Győr-based plant. In addition, the company is also expanding its tool shop.
