Opel Hungary reviews 2018, announces production launch of new petrol engine in Szentgotthárd
The car maker is looking to increase its sales and market share in Hungary with two new electric cars and a number of model updates.
Opel Hungary has reported on its website that with a 7.4 percent increase in sales and 12,336 cars sold in 2018, it had a 7.74 percent market share last year in Hungary.
More than 20 percent of sales were accounted for by SUV models.
The company is expecting to launch the mass production of PSA’s 1.2-litre, three-cylinder Pure Tech petrol engine at the Szentgotthárd plant before the end of the year, in December.
