NNG open development centre in Szeged

NNG LLC, developers of award-winning automotive software, have inaugurated a new development center in Szeged. The current headcount in the new office is close to 30, and the company plans to increase their staff to 50 employees in the coming months and 200 in the long run.

NNG, developers of the iGO Navigation Engine are dedicated to keeping their core development teams and projects in Hungary. Opening of a second office in Hungary indicates their intention to find and attract more talented IT experts in a country known for its science and technology expertise, reported the company on its website.

Development centre inaugurated in Szeged

“We have great growth plans, and our Szeged office will play a significant role in accomplishing them. Our colleagues in Szeged are already working on one of the biggest and most global projects in our history. We had big plans and high hopes when we decided to open our second development centre here, and we are proud that they are becoming reality. We are looking forward to welcoming our 50th Szegedian colleague very soon ” said Péter Szombathelyi, CEO of NNG.

NNG’s new development centre is situated in a centrally located building at Klauzál tér, which had seen a complete overhaul to match the company’s award-winning Budapest headquarters – down to the last detail. The company believed that cutting edge infrastructure, high-quality design aspects, and an abundance of natural light were integral in creating a truly inspiring office environment.

NNG are a major player in the field of automotive navigation systems

Besides the creative work space, the company offers salaries matching the capital and the opportunity to take part in international automotive projects. Recruitment is still open and NNG continue their search for talented programmers, primarily java developers and testers.

The inauguration ceremony was also attended by Mayor of Szeged László Botka.

NNG currently employ over 800 people around the world, expecting fast growth for the future. The company also opened new offices in Detroit and Tokyo in the first half of 2015.
