NIDEC GPM to manufacture 1 million oil pumps annually in Bercel thanks to new investment
Japanese-owned car parts manufacturer NIDEC GPM Hungary Kft. has carried out a HUF 15 billion investment at its Bercel-based plant.
The plant in Nógrád County launched the investment simultaneously with NIDEC’s Germany-based unit. The plant in Bercel is set out to manufacture 1 million oil pumps in the next year.
The HUF 15 billion investment covered the construction of a new logistics hall, the expansion and renewal of the assembly shop, while in the next 4-5 years the company has plans install additional production lines and implement new technologies in Bercel.
