NI expands Debrecen subsidiary with HUF 5.5 billion investment
National Instruments Hungary Kft. (NI) held a topping off ceremony at its plant in Debrecen, after the company’s latest, fourth, building had reached its final height.
The head of the Texas-based company said at the ceremony that they had made the right call 18 years ago, when they decided on a move to Debrecen.
They made their choice based on the availability of a good university, well trained workforce and an apt partnership with the town.
Eric Starkloff (pictured above), the president of National Instruments Corporation, said at the ceremony: the HUF 5.5 billion investment will create 210 jobs in Debrecen, where they already employ 1,500 people.
