New thyssenkrupp plant in Pécs to be ready for production by 2020
Germany-based thyssenkrupp has launched construction works for its new camshaft plant in Pécs.
The new plant, to be built with a greenfield investment and supported with a HUF 5.57 billion government subsidy, will be engaged in the production of high-performance camshaft and electric motor components.
Expected to be completed next year, the unit will create 200 jobs directly and is scheduled to launch serial production in 2020 and ramp up to maximum capacity in 2022.
