New Apollo plant in Gyöngyöshalász prepares to launch production in early-2017
Being one of the biggest investments of its kind currently in Hungary, the nearly €0.5 billion Greenfield project of India-based tyre manufacturer Apollo Tyres in Gyöngyöshalász is going according to plan.
The company already employs over 300 highly-trained engineers, technicians and professionals in tyre manufacturing.
As preparation for their new tasks, the Hungarian subsidiary's employees have taken part in a unique, 10-week training programme in India and the Netherlands, participating in traineeships at local Apollo Tyres plants.
