Mercedes-Benz once again forced to shut down Kecskemét plant due to semiconductor shortage
The Mercedes-Benz plant in Kecskemét has been once again forced to shut down due to global supplier shortages.
The plant will use this period for the Covid19 vaccination of its employees and preparing for the serial production of a new model, scheduled to start later this year.
The Kecskemét plant is currently operating under a modified production programme until the 17th calendar week (through May 2nd).
