Magyarmet expands in Bicske

Magyarmet Finomöntöde Bt. has carried out a HUF 208 million technological and capacity expansion development project at its Bicske foundry, supported by an aid from Széchenyi 2020 funds.

The Hungarian-owned company said in a statement that it had received a HUF 104 million aid for the investment, which aims at increasing production potential and improving less efficient areas. Thanks to the investment, the company secured 178 jobs and created 25 new ones.

With the newly-acquired technical apparatus the company is now able to control the cooling process during the manufacture of ceramic casts and waxen casts, chemically remove ceramic cores, increase casting capacity, perform 3D measurement and meet customer demands much faster.

According to the publication TOP 100+100, published by the Fejér County Chamber of Commerce and Industry and local daily newspaper Fejér Megyei Hírlap, Magyarmet Bt. currently employs 240 people. In 2012, the company netted HUF 2.72 billion and in 2011, Magyarmet registered a turnover of HUF 2.84 billion.
