Magyar Suzuki Corporation announces 12 percent average wage hike

As a result of successful negotiations with the workers’ council, the car maker has raised wages at its Esztergom plant by 12 percent on average, with retroactive effect from January.

In the last five years, Magyar Suzuki Corporation has gradually increased the salaries of physical workers by 78 percent and white collar employees by 52 percent.

In 2022, office workers will receive a 9 percent and physical workers a 12 percent raise, while the starting wage of operators will increase by 14 percent.
