Magyar Suzuki appoints new CEO

Ryoichi Oura will replace Hisashi Takeuchi as company CEO at Esztergom-based Magyar Suzuki. Takeuchi has been promoted to the position of director of product design at parent Suzuki Motor Corporation (SMC).

The company reported that the change was announced by Suzuki Motor Corporation. Ryoichi Oura will replace Hisashi Takeuchi as CEO of the Japanese car maker's Hungarian subsidiary after the company's general assembly meeting in May.

Takeuchi joined Magyar Suzuki Corporation in October 2007 as member of the company's management. He was later promoted to the position of CEO of Magyar Suzuki.

He successfully led Suzuki's Hungarian subsidiary through the economic crisis. As a CEO, he managed to maintain the company's financial stability and uninterrupted production.

Ryoichi Oura is currently one of the key members in the field of production at Magyar Suzuki. After the promotion, Oura will undertake a double position at the company as director of production and CEO of Magyar Suzuki Corporation.
