Made in Győr: 500,000th car rolls off production line at Audi Hungaria
Audi Hungaria has reached an important milestone in car manufacturing: the 500,000th car, an Audi TT S, has rolled off the production line, and is waiting to be delivered to a customer in the United Kingdom.
The car in special Viper Green colour is powered by a 2.0-litre engine also made by Audi Hungaria.
The serial production of Audi TT cars in Győr began nearly 20 years ago, in 1998.
Today, 4,000 people are employed in the production of the Audi TT Coupé, Roadster and the Audi A3 Saloon and Cabriolet models at the Győr plant.
