LuK Savaria workers call off strike following agreement with management
10 percent increase in wages on average, supplements, collective agreement with employees – the LuK Savaria management has managed to reach an agreement with the workers.
It seems that wage talks have ended successfully at LuK Savaria, ensuring that there will be no stoppages in production.
According to an agreement made with the management, starting on 1 June 2016, an additional 2–4 percent supplement to the base wage will be paid to workers – differentiated per wage groups – on top of the 5–7 percent already agreed to on 1 January 2016.
For employees on a monthly salary, a 2 percent wage supplement will be paid in addition to the 10 percent average wage increase that had been previously agreed to.
