LuK Savaria to hire 300 new employees in 2014

The 2,100th employee has started work at LuK Savaria. 24-year-old Bálint Dénes will work as a pre-assembler at the ZMS (double-mass flywheel) line.

The company is planning to hire 300 additional employees this year, 58 of whom will start work already in January.

LuK Savaria began production in 1997. In the last 17 years, the company has manufactured 75 million clutch disks, 71 clutch systems and 25 million double-mass flywheels.

Every fourth car in the world is fitted with a clutch system made at the Szombathely plant. In 2014, LuK will install new production and assembly lines, expand its product development department and launch the newly built tool shop.
