Losonczi Kft. inaugurates new tool shop in Békéscsaba
On February 7, Special machining tool manufacturer Losonczi Kft. handed over a new tool shop at Almáskert Industrial Park, Békéscsaba.
The Békéscsaba-based company manufactures machining tools for the automotive and machine industries. The market-leading manufacturer of precision tools, employer of 27, built a new, 1,350-square-metre production hall, including state-of-the-art office and service facilities and also installed machinery and an IT system.

The company received a HUF 100 million grant for the HUF 300 million investment from New Széchenyi Plan funds.
Losonczi Kft.'s product portfolio includes 2-3,000 machining tools and the company is partners with among others Audi Hungaria, the Paks Nuclear Power Plant, GE Hungary, SANDVIK Austria and IWK-INA Germany. The biggest customers of the company's special tools are Orosháza and Békéscsaba plants of Linamar Hungary.

The company was founded in December 1995 by István Losonczi and his wife. In 2012, the company registered a revenue of HUF 360 million and a net profit of HUF 44 million. In the year of the development production was disrupted several times, which resulted in a 6-7 percent drop in revenues. Nevertheless, the company is expecting a revenue of HUF 360 million for the 2014 financial year.
